Sick About Government Healthcare

Government health care is making me sick! For months now congress has been debating health care and crafting a bill that will give health care to all Americans (well most Americans and all illegal immigrants). They've fought and argued about how they can steal more of our liberty and have us thank them for it.

There is not one place in the constitution of these United States that allows our government to force us to purchase health care or to pay for the health care of others.  This debacle is illegal,  immoral and fattening on so many levels that it is hard to know where to begin.

First of all, the pols say it will save us money and reduce the cost of health care.  There isn't a single government program that works correctly or comes in less that 5 times the estimated expenditures.  And when we are talking about Trillions of dollars to begin with we're actually talking about real money.  Not to mention the fact that any bill that is 2000+ pages long can't be understood completely by anyone and is bound to ensure that no matter what you do you're breaking the law in one way or another.

What this so called healthcare reform will actually do is increase the cost of healthcare for everyone. It will stifle medical research and technology and will shorten the average lifespan of all citizens.

The fact that this piece of horse excrement is being rammed through both houses of congress without allowing any further discussion or debate, even though the American people don't want it, shows that the leadership doesn't actually care about health care. They care about control and the revocation of liberty.

If health care reform and reducing the cost of health care was really what they wanted they would implement the following changes and no more.

  1. Allow the free market to work and let people purchase insurance from states other than their state of residence. Competition ensures lower costs.
  2. Implement torte reform and limit frivolous lawsuits reducing the cost of malpractice insurance and lowering the cost of providing health care.
  3. Abolish the FDA and allow private companies to perform testing and certification of drugs. Something along the lines of Underwriters Laboratories testing for electronics.

Implementing these changes will significantly reduce the cost of health care without implementing any new taxes or increasing controls on the American people.
